You and your loved ones are invited to the December Recognition Ceremony at WashU!
Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Field House, Athletic Complex
A few things you need to do to get ready:
1. Let us know if you plan to attend. Registration is required to participate in the ceremony, and we ask that you RSVP even if you do not plan to attend. The registration period starts today, Oct. 21, 2024, through Nov. 16, 2024, until noon CST.
This year’s ceremony will be a ticketed event, tickets will be shared at a later date.
If you receive a “you are not registered with marching order” message when attempting to register, please reply to this email with your full name and student ID number.
2. Reserve your regalia. You must wear regalia to participate in the ceremony. You may order online through the University Bookstore.
3. Report your plans. We survey all graduating students to gather information about your post-graduation plans. Please let us know what you have lined up or if you’re still figuring it out!
4. Pre-register for portraits and order commemorative gifts. GradImages will take individual portraits of graduates crossing the stage and after exiting the stage. These images will be available for purchase, and if you pre-register for photos, you will receive 20% off of your purchase of $50 or more.
We have partnered with Bear Necessities, a non-profit store on campus affiliated with the Washington University Women’s Society. Gifts and bouquets are available for pre-order and will be available for pick-up on Saturday, Dec. 14.
5. Get your gold philanthropy cord. A contribution to the Senior Class Gift connects undergraduate seniors to a lasting legacy of support, starting with the inaugural graduating class of WashU. Your gift, no matter the size, helps create opportunities for future undergraduates just beginning their education at WashU. Donate today and receive a gold philanthropy cord to wear at commencement, symbolizing your commitment to this proud tradition!
