Dear graduates,

Welcome back! 

The 161st Commencement will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 9 a.m. The ceremony will take place rain or shine on Francis Olympic Field. You will also have the opportunity to be recognized at individual school ceremonies May 18-20. Be sure to check the calendar of events for ceremonies affiliated with your school. 

The university will host an all-school Commencement festival immediately following the universitywide ceremony. The celebration, which includes refreshments, games, photo opportunities, and live entertainment, will stretch from Mudd Field to Tisch Park. 

Please read the important updates below and feel free to share this communication with your loved ones.  

All graduates must register for the universitywide ceremony by April 29. Let us know the number of expected guests. Please complete the registration form even if you are unable to attend.  

Regalia is required to participate. The deadline to reserve regalia is April 5.

Graduation gifts are now available. There are a number of ways to celebrate this momentous occasion. 

A livestream of the universitywide Commencement ceremony will be available on the Commencement website

Parking for visitors will be available at the East End, Millbrook, and Snow Way garages on the Danforth Campus. 

Accessible parking will be available in the Danforth University Center Garage (DUC). Please display your state-issued parking tag.
 
A drop-off lane will be available for those with accessibility needs. Please enter the lot in front of Simon Hall from Olympian Way and Forsyth. Proceed to the drop off-point, where volunteers will assist you. More details are available on the accessibility page.
