An American Sign Language interpreter will be present during Commencement and during individual school ceremonies.
Wheelchair information and access
Three entrances to the quadrangle are ramped for wheelchair access including the entrances south and north of Ridgley Hall and between Duncker and Cupples I Halls. Once inside the Brookings Quadrangle, visitors with special needs will be assisted by one of the ushers for proper seating.
On Commencement morning from 7:15–11:30 a.m. golf cart shuttles will run on a regular route through the inner campus. See map.
Vehicles transporting mobility-impaired visitors may use the driveway south of Brookings Hall to drop off their passengers. Elevators adjacent to this lot in South Brookings Hall provide access to the quadrangle.
Since handicapped parking is limited near the quadrangle, drivers may be asked to park their vehicles in a general parking area after dropping off their passengers.
For visitors who must park in handicapped spaces, please be sure to bring your personal State Handicapped Parking tag or verification of it. This tag or tag verification will allow you to park in a handicap space on campus.
